For our Spring/Summer 2017 collection, we expanded our design horizons with a range of new and reimagined sunglasses in a variety of fresh finishes. Metal frames were interlaced with Southwestern-inspired design elements, like intricate filigree detailing, earth-toned gradients and mirrored metallic lenses. Perennial favorites were reimagined into metal/acetate combinations, like the Kinney Combo, and whimsical new colors for Wilson, Brooks and Hampton, like Pinewood and Sandalwood Drift.
Canal is a wider set aviator shape updated with inverse Windsor rims in matte finishes, an architecturally styled bridge and color filled acetate and metal temples. Riviera is a metal aviator style featuring a tailored fit enlivened by a thin arching top bar and a pronounced bridge with a Southwestern pattern filigree. Van Buren Combo is the latest evolution of our iconic folding frame. Now available in a metal and acetate pairing, this frame comes with a color-filled top bar and temples, acetate temple inserts, and semi-flat glass lenses.
Toledo is a light metal frame inspired by David Bowie that is defined by a distinctive eye shape with inverse Windsor rims and flat gradient lenses bridged by two pieces of thin polished metal. Innes is a refined and reinterpreted women’s aviator with a delicate sculpted metal top bar and monochrome color-filled temples. Its four colorways are available with either gradient lenses and a fabric-laminated Windsor rim or layered mirrors and a half Windsor rim.
Andalusia is a large women’s acetate frame with a subtle cat eye shape and thin metal/acetate color filled temples, paired with complementary CR-39 gradient lenses. Clare V. is a limited edition collab frame developed with LA accessories designer Clare V., defined by a retro but resized cat eye shape and colorful acetate finishes.
Seville is a oversized round frame with a filigree bridge and CR-39 matte mirror and gradient lenses. The Matte Black and Powder Beige frames feature contrasting double rims. Our Wilson Sun is an iconic round metal frame with Windsor rims and tortoise temples in two sizes inspired by music legend John Lennon. If you're looking for a lighter version, look no further than the Wilson M, the all-metal version of our popular round style. Both styles come in Southwestern-inspired color palettes and gradient mirror lenses.
Collabs & Classics
Inspired by Arthur Miller, the GLCO x Nick Wooster collab is a masculine, retro-influenced frame with prominent top bar, metal temple plaques, and custom breath logo. If you're looking for a patriotic frame with a more classic shape, our rectangular GLCO x Mark McNairy frame is handcrafted in the U.S.A. Our classic frames also got a revamp this season. Favorites like Brooks and Hampton were released in lighter, perfect-for-summer colorways, like Sandalwood Drift and Pinewood.
