1. HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE AT GARRETTLEIGHT.EU?

Make sure you’re shopping in the correct region, indicated by EU, on the top right hand corner of our website. Shop by category—from opticals to sunglasses to extras—to select your item. You can also search for your preferred item by using our search function. Click “Add to Bag” to add the item(s) to your order and proceed to check out. Create a new account, or sign into your Garrett Leight account for a speedier, more efficient check out. To complete your purchase, enter your data including shipping and billing address, preferred delivery (express or standard), and agree to the terms & conditions. Any required fields will be flagged in red if not completed properly. Confirm the total price including shipping and taxes, and proceed to payment. Confirm all information is correct and click “Pay Now” to complete your order. 

Once you have placed your order, we will send you an email (in the same language as offered on our site) acknowledging the exact details of your order, and providing you with a payment reference and the value of your order.

When we have dispatched your items, we will send you another email notifying you that your order is on the way.

2. WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

3. WHAT IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED OR DELAYED?

Claims arising from damage, delay, or partial loss of the goods in transit must be made in writing to us within 14 working days of delivery. Please inspect your items for defects as soon as possible after delivery and inform us, so we can make a claim against the carrier, if needed. Defective items can be returned as described in our Return Policy.

4. WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY POLICY?

We provide a two (2) year warranty on our sunglasses, eyeglasses, and clips, starting upon delivery. If the products have a defect within the warranty period, you must notify us of the defect within a reasonable period after becoming aware of it. After such notification you will be entitled to a replacement.

No claim under the warranty can be made if the damage is caused:

  • deliberately or by negligence; 
  • by improper use or careless maintenance;
  • by normal wear and tear, including scratched lenses ;
  • by not or incorrectly following the instructions relating to the product; or
  • by having anyone other than Garrett Leight California Optical make repairs or changes to the product.

Please note that our warranty policy as described above does not replace nor affect the legal guarantee you as a consumer have based on applicable EU law. When you make a purchase as a EU consumer, this legal guarantee gives you a minimum 2-year guarantee as a protection against faulty or otherwise non-conform goods
