If you take an urban design course at San Francisco State (like someone on our team did), you’ll study Hayes Street as a model for how modern streets should be designed (something about mixing commercial, residential, and entertainment). We carried that sentiment over to our Hayes optical – a perfectly proportioned modern frame, universally flattering, and an assemblage of our classic design elements.
